Do you ever look at yourself from behind and wonder where all those rolls around your bra straps came from? Even if you’re not overweight, the wrong bra can make it looks like you have all kinds of that dreaded back fat! And of course, no one wants a panty line to ruin the look of a great pair of pants.
This post was sponsored by Soma Intimates. All opinions are my own.
That’s why I’m so excited to partner with Soma Intimates to tell you about their Vanishing Back Bra and Vanishing Edge Panty.
I’ve been wearing Soma’s Vanishing Edge Panties since they first came out a number of years ago and they do just what they say – VANISH when you put on a pair of pants over them.
This is the Vanishing Tummy With Lace Retro Brief:
I’m pretty much a nude, black or ivory girl when it comes to the color of my lingerie, but I opted for this fun lace brief in Imperial Purple. Don’t you love it?
This style of Vanishing Edge Panty offers what you have come to expect from Soma – thin silicone strips around the leg opening to keep the panty in place and the no-roll waistband. But the Vanishing Tummy feature gives you something extra. A double-layered microfiber front panel that smooths you out and gives you that little bit of tummy control.
This is the Back Close With Lace Trim Vanishing Back Bra:
This is my first bra from Soma and I was so impressed by its fit and comfort!
When the brand first contacted me about a partnership, they asked me to use their Bra Fit Guide to determine my size. This guide includes a video on how to measure yourself to get the best fit. I did as instructed and was so surprised at the size it said I was! I had recently had a professional bra fitting and the sizes were totally different.
My contact with Soma was so nice. She sent me the “Soma Size” bra and the size that I THOUGHT I was. Sure enough, the Soma Size fit perfectly. So….if you are ordering online, use the Bra Fit Guide!
Now for the best part. I wanted to show you before and after pictures of me wearing the Vanishing Back Bra.
Here are the pictures – side by side! I am amazed at the difference. Those back rolls really DO disappear.
And the Vanishing Back Bra is one of the softest, most comfortable and supportive bras I have ever worn. They make your “girls” look good!
Take a look at all the great colors and styles of Vanishing Back Bras and Vanishing Edge Panties that Soma Intimates offers.

Dang, girl!! I need this too. And I just want to point out, it’s not fat—it’s just extra skin!!! Right??

Yes – just extra skin. And even if you don’t have that, don’t you hate how the outline of your bra is so obvious under certain tops? I love the smooth look that this Vanishing Back Bra gave me.
Looks great! I might have to try one!
Tracy – you should! You will love the fit and how it looks under your clothes.
Right fitting bras really makes a difference, as you show, front and back! Beautiful colors.
I go once a year to a major department store for a bra fitting. So I was really surprised when Soma’s ONLINE bra sizing guide gave me such an accurate fit. The Vanishing Back Bra fits perfectly and is so comfortable!
Oh wow! That bra made a huge difference! This also reminded me that I should do a bra fitting soon because I’m pretty sure I’m not wearing the correct size anymore.
I’ve been trying to get a bra fitting once a year because “things” change. And the online bra fit guide on the Soma website is very helpful in determining the correct size.
Wow! That really makes a big difference!
It really does. Great fit and it looks great under my shirts!
Thats a serious difference! I’m all for better support and comfort too!
I know – isn’t the result amazing. I would never have believed it if I hadn’t seen it on me for myself.
Bras can be so tough. I find that I’ll get sized and then i’ll get home and the bra fits weird. A supportive and comfy bra is so hard to come by. I will check out Soma for sure!
That’s great Samantha! I think you’ll be pleased with the results.
Wow! You look great. I have always wondered about trying Soma. I’ll have to check out their guide because my size has changed so much having kids.
Megan – I found that when I used their bra fit guide, I got the perfect fit. They have so many styles and colors. I know you’ll find one you like.
This is a new brand to me and I’m impressed with the results! And then I discovered there’s a store in Lubbock in a shopping center I frequent regularly! Guess where I’m going next time I’m up there??
Yea – let me know how your shopping trip turns out. Soma puts out beautiful and comfortable lingerie!
Hi Kathy, I wear this brand and swear by it. I used to have to wear racerback bras to prevent the straps from falling, and this bra takes care of that problem too!
Terri – so glad you have had a good experience with Soma. I have too!
Cathy, unlike the “modern” girls going around with their underwear as part of their outerwear, I don’t like to see any sign of undergarments. So this is perfect.
Jean – I’m with you on that! That style of your bra straps showing came out when my girls’ were in high school. Absolutely hate it!
Um…how have I missed this post! I’ve been wanting to try some of the Soma panties for awhile because I’ve heard they do a good job of not creeping!
Shelly – they really do stay in place. So many colors and styles – give them a try!
