One of the perks of midlife is sharing cocktails with your adult children! We’ve started a tradition of having a “signature cocktail” for all our special family events. The joke in our family is we spend more time planning the cocktails than we do the food! We served this Berry Lemon Cocktail from Melissa Kaylene for our Father’s Day brunch and have continued to enjoy it throughout the summer. It is filled with fresh raspberries and blackberries and is so light and refreshing. Enjoy!

Kellie – I am thinking of doing a whole cocktail/mocktail post. My daughter (who usually spearheads the cocktails) is pregnant, so she made this great watermelon/cucumber cocktail/mocktail on our family vacation. Delicious! Who needs alcohol?
This is right up my alley. Love a lot of fruit in the summer, it helps me stay energized, with the natural sugars. And heck, why not load your cocktail up with vitamins and goodness! This looks like a great hot day refresher! Thanks!

Stopping by from Blog Pitch Party and so love the signature cocktails. We actually have a signature shooter that started at my father’s 70th birthday when we were all given a complimentary Turkish Delight. It was so delicious that it has become a standard.
