If it’s still warm where you live in early fall, you are probably searching for a fall look that won’t have you sweating the minute you walk out the door.
An easy way to do this is to add a fall piece to your one of your summer wardrobe items.
Add a Fall Top to Your White Jeans
Before I go any further – YES, you can wear your white jeans after Labor Day. In fact, I wear mine all winter with sweaters and blazers and I love the look.
The new pieces I added are an Animal Print Zipper Neck Blouse from Maurices (Only available online). Animal print is still big this fall. And it’s a “rusty red” color that I am seeing a lot. The official Pantone name for it is Caramel Cafe.
This was my first purchase from Maurices. I’ve walked through their store before and my first impression was that the styles were a little “young” for me. But I started seeing some of my midlife blogger friends wearing items from there and decided to take another look. SO MANY cute things I would wear at a great price point.
I’m also wearing my new lug sole loafers. This is a great investment. Classic with a modern touch. And this pair is super comfortable. If I’m going to splurge price-wise it’s going to be on a good pair of shoes. Nothing is worse than feet that hurt!
Here’s a look from the back so that you can see the length of the top.
Add a Denim Jacket
When temperatures cool a bit, add this Cinched Back Denim Jacket (on sale). This jacket is little longer and more blazer-like than your typical denim jacket. It gives you a different silhouette.
Inventory on the top and jacket is low, so here are some other options:
